saying goodbye to Tulsa

Okay, so it's been almost a week since my last post. A lot has been happening and the past few days have been without internet. So gotta play a little catch up.

Last week Gus took me to the Tulsa Flea Market at the Expo Center. This flea market was great because the majority of it was eclectic collections of antiques and amazing jewelry.

Gus was busy buying up antique draw knifes and trying to convince me we needed an old pistol gun. I scored an awesome old onyx ring from the 50's set around an array of beautiful flowers. I've been on the hunt lately for the perfect onyx ring and I'm so excited to have this in my collection.

When we got back to the house I took some pictures of the amazing art that Gus's grandparents have collected over the years. Each piece is so unique and different.
This one is my favorite. I love the simplicity of it. The cute little farm house and the tree.

Gus's mom, Darby weaves and made this beautiful blanket.

It's been a few years since Gus has been back to visit the family, so everyone got together for picture day and then we all went out to brunch for yummy food and mimosas.
What a great looking bunch everyone is.

We all said our goodbyes after brunch, packed up and headed to
Arkansas to stay with his mom for a few days.

Thank you Laura and Tom for a great visit in Tulsa!
